The construction has begun!

At last we could cut the ribbon to star the building. After a lengthy design and approval process finally has begun the construction of Magdala Center.

Thanks to the support, prayers and donations of thousands of people the time to bring this dream to reality is close.

Discovering a synagogue from the times of Jesus in “Magdala Center”

Migdal, Galilee, Israel, September 11, 2009. In a September 10th press release the Israeli Antiquities Authority revealed an important and surprising discovery of the remains of a synagogue from the times of Jesus and the Apostles during excavations on the site of the future Magdala Center. The Holy Father, Pope Benedict XVI blessed the cornerstone for the Magdala Center which is being developed by the Legionaries of Christ, a religious congregation.
